Driver Daemon (LCDD)
is a software service that runs in the background on your
computer. It displays real-time system information from your
operating system on a 20x4 backlist LCD. The currently
supported serial LCD can be bought from CrystalFontz
for around $45. This has to be one of the coolest additions
to your PC. The LCD can be mounted into your PC just like a
drive in a drive bay. Many stats are displayed such as CPU
usage, memory usage, total uptime, system load,
time/date...
There are versions of the
driver that run on Win95/98/ME/NT/2K/XP. All version display

program to display the information you want and select advanced

CPU
Stats (FREE!) A small utility to monitor your CPU usage and
display it graphically in several different formats. This
program maintains an icon in your system tray also which displays
the CPU usage.
This is a fun
tool and has an animated display that's pretty cool. Its the
same animated CPU meter that's in the Visual
Server Monitor.
CPU usage can be
displayed in Bar & Graph, just Bar, just Graph, and animated
styles. The system tray icon can display either numbers or a
